ZAKK WYLDE Claims That DIMEBAG Is On Par With Eddie Van Halen, Jimi Hendrix, and Randy Rhodes Due To His “Writing”

With respect to whether there were any PANTERA tunes or parts that took him longer to figure out than the rest, Zakk said:
“What I fair found truly magnificent was Dime’s… I cruel, the reason why we’re still talking almost Dime’s significance and everyone, and all the folks that we cherish, whether it’s Lord Edward [Eddie Van Halen], St. Rhoads [Randy Rhoads], Jimi Hendrix, I cruel, all the folks, it’s what they composed. Aside of Dime’s extraordinary procedure and how astounding he was and how fast he seem play and everything like that, it’s what he composed, fair like with Randy and Eddie and everyone. I cruel, all the folks that we adore. But Dime’s composing, like his chord choices and everything like that, it’s a, bit, like ‘Oh, wow.
