The funds will be directed toward the purchase and installation of soft-barriers—critical safety equipment used in motorsports to help reduce the severity of impacts and protect riders during crashes.
The annual event, which was held in conjunction with the 2024 MotoAmerica season finale, featured a star-studded lineup of racers, fans, and industry figures. The highlight of the fundraiser was an auction, where rare memorabilia, including items from Rainey’s own career, were offered to the highest bidders. Among the items auctioned were signed helmets, racing leathers, and a framed collection of iconic photographs from the 1990s, when Rainey was dominating the Grand Prix world.
