Check out: Agent claims Man City star is worth almost £900m – and is ‘sure of it’

Erling Haaland of Manchester City has been valued at €1 billion by his agent Rafaela Pimenta following a remarkable first season in the Premier League.

Erling Haaland’s agent has estimated that the Manchester City sensation is worth €1 billion (£889 million).

The 22-year-old goal machine, who is on course to break the Premier League record with 26 goals in 23 games this season, has proven he can cut it at the highest level since joining from Borussia Dortmund.

Last summer, City signed him to a reported £51 million deal. Rafaela Pimenta, his agent, believes they could be laughing all the way to the bank if and when they sell him.

Pimenta stated on the French channel TF1’s Telefoot program: “Erling Haaland has a net worth of €1 billion. That is not a guess; I am certain of it.

“They might say I’m crazy, that a club would never pay a billion dollars. But it’s his age, quality, progression, and behavior that make me think of a billion.

“The future is unknown, but it is approaching. He’s so simple, and he’s not impressed by the bling. It’s his magic formula to eat lasagne before matches. He does not regard himself as significant. This is the future.”

Brazilian lawyer Pimenta, who inherited late super-agent Mino Raiola’s agency after his death last year, has backed up her earlier comments.

“I think Erling will be the first player to achieve a transfer worth around £1 billion,” she told Sky Sports Italia at the time.

“If you put together his football value, his image value, his sponsor value, it is for sure £1bn. It’s natural to draw comparisons between Erling and [Kylian] Mbappe to get a sense of the market.”
